    Hooray!

Actually - YOU can't. I can't. Shelly and her cohorts CAN.

What she likely did was take a peek at the database itself... like editing an Excel spreadsheet - change them both in their little cells, then save.

We have to make "submissions" one at a time - up against a routine that checks to see if the address is "in use" - get it now?

    anyway, another plan comes together

They just need to adjust the points (I should be at level 4) and everything will be perfect. Right now the account that was created yesterday by mistake shows as being a level 4. It appears that I got 1478 points in one day Not bad eh?

    Aha!

I knew I was right all along!

You wanted your OLD Apple ID that you have been using forever here in ASC to simply have the preferred email address associated with it!

Transferring points is gonna be an ASC first that I know of.

    Last question, I promise.

Do you REALLY want to use MyMac8MyPC username that you created just recently?

The Hosts change Usernames all the time > Change Forum Username

Correct. I think they switched usernames instead of the e-mail address.

It did NOT get done like you wanted it to

    screenshot-discussions.apple.com 2016-09-15 20-13-14.png

You NOW need to get TWO usernames CHANGED to fix the problem

    • change the Apple ID with which you are posting in this thread to Rumplestiltskin (whatever)
    • change the OTHER Apple ID to MyMac8MyPC (newly reclaimed from this one)

ONLY the Hosts can do that (now)

THIS thread would then magically have all the usernames in it changed from MyMac8MyPC to Rumplestiltskin

THEN, you can simply forget about Rumplestiltskin and proceed with MyMac8MyPC elsewhere and in all your past participation

    Gettit now?

I will pull the trigger if yo do.
