Q: iPhone playlists empty

I have updated my iPhone 6s to iOS 10. When I go into the Music App I can see all of my Folders and the Playlists within them, but when I open the Playlists they are empty. When I look in Album, Artist, or Song view everything is there, only the Playlist view isn't working.

    Hello kbelle1979,

I understand from your post that your playlists are empty after updating to the iOS 10. I use the Music app all the time and I depend on being able to listen to my playlists when I want. I will be happy to help.

The first thing that I'd like for you to do is to close the Music app out and then restart your iPhone. Once it's back up, please go ahead and check to see if the content in your playlists have returned. If they haven't, please connect your iPhone to iTunes and sync your playlists once again.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Get your music collection on all of your devices

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Have a great weekend!
