Q: Auto Management of Photos

Here's the scenario and what I'm looking to accomplish. I have an iPhone and my wife has an iPhone. We both take tons of photos of our daughter on our respective devices. I'd like all of our photos from both of our devices to automatically sync to a single iCloud account.

My current process is this: I connect our devices to Photos on my iMac and download the photos. I want this process to be automatic and I don't want to have to continuously connect the devices and download the photos.

How do others manage their photos across families and different devices?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10

if you both use the same Apple ID with iCloud Photo Library then your photos libraries are kept in complete sync - that is how we do it

If you need to keep separate AppleIDs on your devices, because you do not want to share the Mail, Calendar, Contacts, you could use shared albums to send each other the photos. It would not be fully automatic, however. After taking pictures and weeding out the bad shots you would have to add them to the shared album.
