Q: Apps on Macbook Taking too Much Space!

Hey all,

So I have a Macbook Pro, and I run out of storage very quickly. For example now, I only have 4.93 GB available out of 120.1 GB. I looked at the chart on my computer and 65 GB alone is from apps. I looked under "applications" and other than Spotify, all the other apps are from the computer itself. Is there a way to see what all is considered "apps" so I can deleted them to save storage? Thanks in advance!

    Hello wolborg93,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are running low on space and you want to increase the amount of available disk space.
I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

OS X El Capitan: Increase disk space

Another thing you can do is to Open Finder and Control-click Applications on the side bar and click Get Info. Another window will appear and you can see the size of the folder.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Have a nice day.
