Sep 16, 2016 2:43 PM in response to GoldenOreoby ThatWolfgang,★HelpfulI'm using a 16GB iPhone 6 (non-S) and after updating to iOS 10.0.1 (non-beta) my phone keeps filling up with I don't know what. I'm running out of space without doing anything different. I keep deleting apps like games, etc. to free up space but a coupe of hours later that space is already gone again. I have no idea how to fix this.
And I have another problem, which might be related. I'm paying for 50GB of iCloud space and my photo library took up about 50% before the update to iOS 10.0.1. Now after the update I have only about 17GB left. What happened? Why did the library blow up by so much all of a sudden?
Help!

Sep 16, 2016 2:47 PM in response to GoldenOreoby ThatWolfgang,I just spoke with an Apple support rep. She was not aware of an issue like the one where the phone runs out of space. She suggested a full reset und restore from backup. If that shouldn't help, she would forward my info to the respective dev team, she said. Looking into resetting my phone now...

Sep 17, 2016 11:25 PM in response to GoldenOreoby pflegerich,I have this issue, too. generally, there shouldn't be much of a storage problem on my iPhone 6S Plus with 64GB. The installed apps and data amount to about 15GB.
However since the update to iOS 10, the 'free storage' display seems highly inconsistent, sometimes going as far as showing only a few hundred MB free and giving me warnings. Sometimes it goes up to about 14gb free () but I'm still expecting to have about 25-30GB free on the device, thats how it was before ios 10 at least.
Are there any solutions yet?
edit: It has happened again: 97MB free (see screenshot), within a few minutes, without changing anything. iCloud Photo Library is set to optimise iPhone storage, as I had quite a lot of images in there. Also, with only about 100MB free, the phone reacts sluggishly as ****

Sep 23, 2016 1:01 AM in response to GoldenOreoby TrickPat,I've got a 32 gB iPhone 5S and did the same too; it tells me that photos take up the biggest part (1,09 gB), Podcasts (1,33 gB) Voice Memos (1 gB) etc. I even did a "Backup Restore" via iTunes on my PC last Sunday which first left me with 17gB and the same storage values for photos &c. cited above, after all my Apps have been reinstalled. But only 5 days later, I'm left again with less than 12,49 gB, so I guess my next "Restore" is in one week. And the only major thing I did was stream a performance from Apple Music Festival. That video seems to have downloaded to my device but I'm not able to remove it...
