Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to be able to rely on your phone working as expected and I'd like to help. You were on the right track starting with a standard restart of you phone. What I’d like us to do next is reset your Network Settings to make a fresh connection with your network to ensure we are using the latest communication settings needed. Rest assured, this will only affect settings like your WiFi password. Your content will not be erased.
You will need to re-enter your Wi-Fi password once your device restarts.
Please tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your device.
