Q: iTunes Store Screen Shows With Incorrect Resolution

Since at least 2 updates ago the resolution of the iTunes Store screen is wrong. The edges of the store are cut off and the side bar lists cannot be accessed. I have not touched my computer's resolution settings and the library screen is fine. My computer setting is 1920x1080 and it always has been. I don't see any way in iTunes to correct this problem and I reported the issue with no success. I'm not going to change my computer settings just to accommodate iTunes. Any other suggestions??

p.s. it was just updated to 12.4.3.1 about 10 minutes ago. It didn't resolve the issueiTunesStoreProblem.JPG

    Hi,

This article from Microsoft Support may help you    ☞  When changing the DPI setting on Windows 7, some fonts may be scaled too large or too small

I haven't changed the DPI settings or the resolution on my computer. My music library is still normal, the problem is isolated to the store. It looks like it is going to load properly (image from mid-load) but once it is fully loaded it no longer fits the screen properly. The right side-bar is clearly visible while it's loading but is not accessible afterwards. I have been unable to find a solution for this issue.

As of today the iTunes Store has gotten worse. Not only is the resolution still wrong but now the screen is full of lines and everything is broken up. Also none of the links are working. This is a mess. Anyone have any idea as to what's going on with the iTunes Store. It's completely inaccessible now and it appears nothing is being done to fix it. Guess Apple doesn't want any more of my money.

So I just installed the 12.5.1.21 update and the store's screen resolution still hasn't been fixed. I got an iTunes card for my birthday and I can't use it. This has been going on for months. I'm beyond frustrated at this point. When is this issue going to get fixed???????

If your display is set to anything greater than 100%, the UI is messed up. A workaround, if indeed your display under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display is greater than 100% (like mine) and you can stand tiny icons and microscopic text, set it to 100% and iTunes will look "normal". Hope this helps. And keep in mind, this is not a fix or resolution, only a workaround. This is a real big issue for me at least on 12.5.1.21

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm not looking for a workaround, I want Apple to fix this. I just got off the phone with Apple Support. No help there but the supervisor I was speaking to is passing the issue on to the engineering department. In the meantime since I will not mess up my computer's display just to use the iTunes Store I will make do will no new music. My default display size is 125% (1920x1080 17" laptop). All my display settings are default. Hopefully Apple will figure out that this is an issue for a lot of their paying customers and do something to resolve it.

Agreed. It is not a fix. I too, have my displays (4 computers) set to 125%. 100% on my laptop is just not usable.
