Q: iTunes won't let me re-download my previously purchased album

I bought "The Phantom of the Opera" soundtrack from the movie and at one point some of the songs were reading as unavailable to play, like at first I would play them and within less than a minute into the song, it would start it over. Later on it said the song was not available offline. This had happened with one of the songs on one of my other albums. I had fixed it by deleting the song when i got home and downloading it again. The same thing happened with my Phantom track. I got frustrated and deleted the entire album and even went so far as to remove the download.

When I got home, I tried to download it again only to find that I couldn't. I expected to see the cloud and down arrow symbol that meant download, but it only says "PURCHASED" and every time I try to tap it to get my music back, it registers the tap (as in the color of the word changes), but won't do anything. I tried going to recently purchased and downloads not on my iPhone but it doesn't show up. I even tried it on my MacBook Pro, but nothing.

I don't want to have to pay again, I don't want to have to buy a different album. I figure it's because I removed the download, but I just want my songs back. Please help!

iPhone 6s, iOS 10
