Q: iphone 7 audio clicks with 3.5mm adaptor
Hey guys, this is my first day with the new iphone 7. I got the 256gb black version with Telstra.
I just plugged in my Bose QuietComfort headphone to the phone using the 3.5mm adaptor that came with the phone.
Even before playing any music, I could hear constant clicks. They became loud taps on starting some songs.
- The noise cancellation was turned off
- Turning on the noise cancellation did not seem to have any effect, other than suppressing the background noise
I have already updated the ios to 10.0.1 Other than that, I am out of options. I plugged the headphone to my mac, and there was no issue, so I am fairly certain the problem is not in the headphone. I also used the suppled headphone from apple with the phone, and again no issues. So the only thing I can think of at this point is the 3.5mm adaptor. Just wanted to run it by you guys and see if anyone can come up with a solution.
Cheers.
