Sep 16, 2016 9:16 PM in response to Daddygiverby ChrisJ4203,It could be for any reason, however since you have opened the phone, you have voided any post-warranty support from Apple. You will need to try and find a competent 3rd party repair facility to try and fix what you must have broken. Apple will not assist you, and no one here could, since the iPhone does not have user serviceable parts.

Sep 16, 2016 10:08 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by Daddygiver,★HelpfulDo you see what level I am. I just started using online forum meaning I'm new to this site. You should known better and telling me that I broke something in the process, that's just your assumption. Isn't Iphone 6 and up have issue with the component being cover by just a piece of fabric rather than sealed around with metal shield? Could it be the Iphone 6 plus that I got is one of your DEFECTIVE devices that you sold to me? And for that reason, you don't have the right to judge me and conclude that it was my fault. That's not the kind of help I was hoping for. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sep 16, 2016 10:17 PM in response to Daddygiverby maxdog_extreme,I'm level 1 also and hopefully this will help you as you are looking for a resolve. I have opened Macs before to install Ram. I never opened a phone yet. These communities are just others like you and I, end users. Apple probably browses these from time to time however these aren't direct responses from them. The communities have helped me a lot for years even though I'm still level 1. I always recommend to friends and family, use Support Communities. Stay calm and respectful, use the answers that help and ignore the rest even if they seem rough. Everyone sees your responses also and will stay helpful if you do.
I hope that helps.

Sep 17, 2016 6:58 AM in response to Daddygiverby ChrisJ4203,It means that the device is not to be opened by end users. That is what it means. Opening it yourself, or allowing a 3rd party repair to open and work on the device voids all warranty or post-warranty support for the device.

Yes, that is where you are wrong. This is a user to user support forum, and you are not addressing Apple here. I did not sell you anything. I stated fact for you. Because you do not like the answer, does not change the fact that it is the way it is.
Again, you opened the device and tried to replace a part. Apple does not sell parts, so no telling what the quality of that part was. It is either a knockoff or a recycled part from another device. I'm truly sorry you put yourself into that position, but you did that yourself. I gave you the only answer there is. You have to try and find a competent 3rd party repair to take care of your device.
