It would help to give us more information. Etrecheck Etresoft: EtreCheck is a free app developed by a contributor to this discussion. It will generate a system report which you can post here, and we can take a look and see what the problem is.
I downloaded it and tried and found many issues in my MacBook Pro.
So to get around having the Finder I have to disable Google Drive and DropBox. Hope this helps.
