Sep 17, 2016 1:28 PM in response to rprakash01by MASKOAA,I had the same problem 5s didn't start till a day later I downgraded back to 9.3.5 you'll have to Google how to do so b/c posting it on here isn't allowed.
People said give it time its reindexing....which doesn' tneed to be done on non spinning HDD's....so I'm like okay I left it on for 24 hours still hot still discharging 12 percent battery per hour just sitting on desk...revert back to 9.3.5 problem solved.

Something may have gone wrong with the update. If that still does not work go to an Apple store and have the device examined. Something may have failed in your phone and the install of IOS 10 was just a coincidence.
