Q: Unable to sync Mac (10.9.5) to iCloud and iDevices but the reverse works
My problem is simple. I just added a calendar to my MBA (10.9.5) and attempted to share the calendar with my family.
After my family did not receive an e-mail to sync with the new calendar, I looked at my iCloud account. The new calendar is not listed on my iCloud account either.
I went through all of the basic and advanced troubleshooting guides on apple.com and other third-party sites to no avail. Yes, my calendar is listed under iCloud. My calendar is set to sync with my iCloud account in System Preferences. I am logged into my iCloud account on my Mac. I followed all of the settings listed on Apple's support pages. I even cleaned out my calendars and logged out and then logged back in to my iCloud account on my Mac.
I did try a reverse test. I added a calendar in iCloud. Miraculously, it synced immediately with my iDevices and my Mac. In sum, iCloud will sync with my iDevices and Macs, but my Mac will not sync with iCloud and my iDevices.
I really do not want to enter all of the information back into iCloud. Suggestions on how to solve the problem?
MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), null

Ok, after an hour of frustration (my iCloud account is sent to Push), I logged out of my iCloud account and then logged in again. Of course the restore did not include the new calendar, so I imported my backup. The calendar now shows up. This is a serious flaw that Apple needs to correct.
