Q: How to disable the CALL SOS feature?
I just updated to iOS 10 and WatchOS 3, but I can't find how to disable the Emergency SOS feature on my Apple Watch.
I thought it would be a good feature for me so I turned it on, but my fingers are clumsy, so I hit the wrong slider when I turned off my watch and I accidentally called 911. I turned off “Hold to Auto Call” and removed all of my SOS contacts in General in the Watch app on my iPhone, and I restarted both the iPhone and the Apple Watch, but Emergency SOS still shows on my watch when I want to turn my Watch off.
I think before I turned Emergency SOS on, I saw “Power Reserve” below the “Power Off”. I read that once you turn Hold to Auto Call on in the Watch app, and then turn it off, the Emergency SOS slider will still show up when you turn off the watch.
How can I disable the Emergency SOS slider when I turn off my Apple Watch? Should I use reset under General, or unpair my watch and pair again? I don't want to do that because it would take a long time to get all my settings as I want them to be.
Thanks!
