    Hello beschorner86,

Thanks for asking about your iPhone headset jack here in the Apple Support Communities. I understand how important the headphones are for me each day, be it while driving, or sing headphones to not bother others around me. Here is what we need to check.

The first thing we want to ensure is that all your data is safe. You can make a backup in iCloud or iTunes. Use this article for help with that: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Then, please open this help article: If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you have gone through all the steps and are still having issues, the article asks you to contact Apple Support. You will need to make an appointment to have the headset jack checked at an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store. You can use this link to contact a service provider: Apple find locations.

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.
