I understand that you're having some difficulty logging into your MacBook Pro because you've forgotten your password. I know that it's important to have access to your own devices, so I'm happy to provide some direction to help with this.
Check out this article that we have on resetting your account password:

Sep 15, 2016 6:07 PM in response to jameson.hby bmittz,Thanks, unfortunately I have tried all of these steps and still not able to login.
It tells me to use my icloud account password but still does not log me in.
I know I am using the correct password because I am able to access my account via the web.
Any other suggestions?

If you've changed your primary email address for your iCloud account, then check out the steps in this article. The article mentions an issue that primarily only affects older iOS versions, but could still be relevant to your issue:
If iCloud asks you for the password to your previous Apple ID - Apple SupportChange your Apple ID temporarily
Use these steps to change your Apple ID temporarily:
- Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
- Click Edit in the Account section, then click Change Email Address.
- Change your Apple ID to the email address that iCloud is asking you to sign in with.
- Sign out of your account page.
If this is not the case, then you may find more information by using another one of Apple's support resources:Contact Apple Support
Cheers!
