Q: Does Aperture still work with iOS 10?

I'm running Aperture 3.6 on a MacBook Pro with El Capitan 10.11.6 and was considering upgrading my iPhone 6 to iOS 10.  But, I've been burned by some problems with previous upgrades before (e.g. when Aperture vanished from the App Store for a while or when a new version of iOS refused to synch with an old version of OS X).  I have searched online for problems and haven't heard any, but I just wanted to confirm it works.

 

Can anyone confirm that they are able to download photos from their iPhone running iOS 10 into Aperture?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5

Aperture 3.6 is seeing my iPhone 5s with iOS 10 in the Import panel, but it needed quite a lot of time, ( a minute or so) before the Import panel populated with the thumbnails of the photos in the Camera Roll.

Image Capture on the other hand has been showing the photos on the iPhone immediately.
