The only problem is is not clear if the computer app (missing Sync) discussed will work in El Capitan since the app has been discontinued the last update was for 10.1.11 and later.

For all you have to have the Palm Desktop on your Mac.
YOu may have to find a Mac with 10.6.8 or earlier to do what you want and once you get the data to the older Mac yo can move it to the newer Mac

Sep 19, 2016 6:47 AM in response to wolfrobby John Lockwood,I would agree you are best of trying this on a Mac running 10.6.8 or 10.5.8.
For the contacts you would sync the Palm via/to Palm Desktop. Palm Desktop can then export the contacts as a Vcard file which can then be imported in to Contacts.
Calendar is going to be harder. It was possible to sync Palm calendar entries to Apple's Calendar (then called iCal) program. However getting it from an old Mac running Leopard or Snow Leopard is then the problem. These old versions cannot for example do iCloud any more. Even syncing to an iPhone would no longer be possible as they cannot run a new enough version of iTunes.
