Q: Where has the timer gone in workouts...

am I doing something wrong.

 

before updating to watch os3, when doing a workout it would track my time. Now all I get is active calories, total calories, miles and heart rate

 

there is nothing showing the time anymore.

    Under watchOS 3, the Workout app can display up to 5 metrics at once.

     

    Follow these steps to customise your metrics, adding Duration to the information shown by the Workout app during your workouts:

     

    • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Workout > Workout View.
    • Choose Multiple metric.
    • Tap on an activity type (for example Outdoor Run) > tap on Edit (upper-right) > select up to 5 metrics (they can be arranged in your preferred order).
    • Tap on Done (upper-right) when finished.
    • Do the same to customise the metrics for any other activity type.
