Q: What keyboard shortcut is this?

Thanks Shift-Control- and what? It's not the arrow keys.

Thanks very much.

UPDATE: It's the tab key. Why can't it use the same shortcut as Safari and other apps?

Not sure what you are trying to do or ask here.

I cannot find Control+Shift+Tab in Pages for Mac... Have you asked your question in the correct area?

I DO use these commands to switch between TABS in both Finder and in Safari (the same keyboard shortcut does work in both areas).

That is the demote/promote level in Lists.

Apologies. Perhaps I have a different version. Can you tell me the current version numbers for the iWork apps? I'm not getting an update option in the App Store. I see a new version is coming tomorrow, but Pages on the Apple website doesn't give the current version number.

I have always used Command+] and Command+[ to promote/demote level in lists.

I tried on both Pages 5.6.2 and Pages 09 and the Control+Shift+Tab shortcuts do not give the same result. Perhaps I have changed something in my System Preferences since the others answering here obviously have far more experience.

Apple changed the behaviour in Pages 5.x.

They forgot to change the version I downloaded. When I have my cursor within the paragraph below Command+] moves the entire para to the right. Control+Shift+tab does nothing that I can see.

Having updated to Sierra and the related Pages (version 6) I now understand the question.

Yes the screenshot originally supplied NOW shows in Pages and the shortcut keys of Control + (Shift) + Tab moves forward and back displaying the documents if they are displayed as Tabs. (Or 2 or more windows have been merged).

The same keyboard shortcuts apply to Safari and perform the same function.

Interesting. I didn't know the shortcut had changed in Safari. The traditional shortcut has been Cmd-Shift-Left and Right Bracket, and that still works.
