I agree with you on this one. If I need an electronic, mobile device to tell me when to go to bed, something is wrong. However, waking up with the help of an alarm is something quite different IMHO. It seems so absolutely infantile to me. I am nowhere near my iPhone or iPad most evenings after dinner, so whatever this thing does, I would not see it anyway.
My body tells me when it's time to go to bed. But like you said, we don't have to use it if we don't want to do so.

Sep 19, 2016 6:58 PM in response to Demoby Traveller 11,On the 'infantile' theme, maybe the design guys will decide to introduce a feature that will allow a small child to hit a button which will advise one of its parents that it is just about to fill or has just filled its nappy/diaper, as I see a lot of small kids who cannot yet talk but can play games on these devices!
i Am also finding that the screen in the this forum for reading and replying to is around 2 sizes too BIG, will not scroll as you type and keeps jumping back to the BIG size when you get to the end of the line!
NO doubt another 'BUG' that wasn't found during testing.
I also wonder how many iPhone owners have the facilities installed at their home that will allow them to operate devices remotely?

A feature that further encourages poor parenting skills. I think it's a must have for the parent that can't get their nose out of their own device long enough to interact with their child.

This forum was updated back in June. The PTB thought that huge type and wasted white space was the look that we they wanted, so we have been given this. It was actually even worse when first rolled out, so what you are seeing now is an improvement.

I Have thought about that myself. I would guess that many of the users that participate regularly here are fairly well heeled and can afford that type of set up. Speaking for myself as an iPhone user, I am lucky that I can afford the phone and the data plan. Outfitting my very modest digs to work with a system like that is probably out of my financial realm.
Besides, If I can't get up off of my lazy a*s*s to turn a light on or off, then I probably do need a device to tell me when to go to sleep.
