Video Surveillance Recorder is connected to Airport Extreme which is connected

to Netgear 3000 modem in bridge mode. I can see all cameras in LAN over Airport Extreme WiFi but not in WAN network.

Can someone help me?

What exact model is your AirPort Extreme base station?

To confirm that the Netgear CG3000 is in bridge mode:

    • Does the AirPort Utility show that the Extreme is not in a "Double NAT" condition?
    • Is the WAN-side IP address on the Extreme something other than one that starts with 10, 172, or 192?

Does your ISP provide you with a static Public IP address?

    AirPort Time Capsule 802.11ac /ver. 7.7.7

It's not in a "Double Nat"

    It's 10.0.1.1

I think that Netgear is still blocking ports.

10.0.1.1 would be the default LAN-side IP address of the Extreme.

In the following image, my Time Capsule is in bridge mode so both the (WAN) IP address and LAN IP address are the same. Are you saying that the IP address for your Time Capsule in a similar image is reading: 10.0.1.1?

This just sounds like a standard port forwarding issue - you need to configure the Netgear router to permit incoming traffic (from the WAN) to get to your camera.

Think carefully about doing this, though. By default, opening the port will give anyone on the internet access to your camera. Depending on what it's seeing this may or may not be what you want.

Ok, it looks like your AirPort is getting a public IP address on the WAN-side.

Since it is not static are you using a DDNS service to assign a "static" hostname that you use to connect back to your Extreme from a remote location?

... and have you already configured the AirPort for port mapping to your video recorder?

Would you please provide a screen shot of your port settings in the AirPort Utility? Also, could you provide the required ports UDP and/or TCP that the video recorder requires or access?

Finally, how are you testing remote access to the recorder ... from within your local network or an actual remote location?

As I mentioned before AirPort and NVR communicating perfect. I believe the Netgear despite bridge mode blocking ports. I can't send screenshot because I am not there right now.

Then you will need to resolve the issue with the Netgear to move forward with this.

In theory, if you disable NAT on the Netgear (pg. 47 of the User Manual), all ports should be open, but I don't have this device to verify that for you.

The other thing is that it may not be the Netgear at all, but your ISP may be blocking the required ports. You may want to check with them as well.

One test would be to re-enable NAT and configure port forwarding on the Netgear, and reconfigure the Extreme as a bridge. If you are still not able to access the recorder in this configuration, I would talk with your ISP.

Not sure how else we can help you at this point. Sorry.
