Thanks for posting on the Apple Support Communities. I see since you updated to iOS 10, iTunes can’t see your iPhone when it’s plugged in. I know how important it is to be able to use iTunes. I will be more than happy to help.
iOS 10 requires the latest version of iTunes which is 12.5.1 and that requires OS X 10.9.5 or higher if you have a Mac. It requires Windows 7 or higher if you have a Windows computer, so you’ll want to make sure your computer is on the latest OS possible.
