Q: Didn't get a response from the Software Update server (macone.local).
I have been getting this question every time I click to search for any updates in my App Store. Because of this I have not been able to update any application and others.

Okay, you need to use this Terminal.app command:
sudo defaults delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate CatalogURL
, which will reset your Mac to use Apple's update service. It has to be run from an account with admin privileges and will ask you for your password. (If you only have one user account on your Mac it will have admin privileges.)
