    Give us a clue as to where the Page Numbers are appearing? Are they in the Footer area? Have they been typed within the text of the original document.

     

    If there are in the footer I generally just need to delete the number from the first page.

    Converted Word documents often have page numbers in separate locked Textboxes.

     

    To catch them hold down your command key and click off the page dragging inwards to lasso the textbox.

     

    Then unlock them and delete them.
