Hi there,

Ive some weird creepy "Cisco ivg"  on the left side of my finder thought I solved the issue (at least temporarily) but its still there, How can I fix it? shall I run further security checks?

    I've been battling with this for a while and finally found my cause.

    I own a  XPrintServer – Home Edition  devise to make my printer ios "airprint" compatible.

    The moment I unplugged the XPrint device, the mysterious PC disappeared. So as a test whenever you see the shared PC on your side bar try unplugging one by one any device connected to your network until the PC goes away.

    This is what I had showing on mine...

    I too have a printer but is disconnected the only thing named cisco could be the modem and I can't disconnect that as I need internet for my work.

    So that doesnt help me but thank you. Does anyone see anything in the network utility I just posted?

    And if you turn off your Cisco device (as a test), does the "Cisco ivg" go away?

    Have you tried Bonjour Browser to find more information about what is on your home network?

    <http://www.tildesoft.com>

    That should give you a IP address to associate with "Cisco ivg".  The IP address may be associated with another device on your network that you do recognize.

    The routing tables are not telling anything of interest.
