Apple Watch
Q: Cannot update Apple watch
I have a first GEN Apple Watch. I have tried to update the watchOS but I get an error every time. Even though watchOS 3 is out it is wanting me to up date to 2.2.2 and it will not let me do that. I have done a hard reboot on both my phone and my watch. Same problem every time I press install and it asked for my passcode on my phone and then I get an error and when I click on the details for the error I just goes right back to the installs screen. Any help would be great

The following steps may help:
- If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 10:
- Delete any beta profiles (on your iPhone and/or watch) and restart both devices (this only applies if you have ever participated in an Apple Beta Software Program),
- Unpair and re-pair your watch:
- The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch when unpairing via the app. Choose to Restore from Backup when offered the option during set up. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).
