Q: My App store won't  download anything!

My app store won't download anything, it show me an error with "The network connection was lost." but I am connected to the internet and can search in app store!! This error shows only when I try to download an application.

I can update my apps from update tab but can't  install anything!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

    Hi,

    • Apps such as Little Snitch, Growl, and MacKeeper, can prevent access apps from downloading

    • Disable anti virus software if installed

    • Check the firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall > Firewall Options

    • Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled

Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.

Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected.

If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.
