Q: pc backup transfer

Hi everyone,

I need to restore my pc. I have my important iphone backup on this authorized pc and before restoring, I think I have to keep this iphone backup to another safe drive(external harddisk or usb drive). But according to my researches on the net, Apple says it will be damaged while transfering backup.

What should I do? Thanks for your help. Best regards.

Your iPhone can also be backed up to iCloud.

Thanks Jonathan,

I know to back up to iCloud. But i have different backups in my pc. I will need them later. One solution is backing up to old version then keep it in another pc then come back to restore my main pc. But this solution will take long. Thus I've asked a practical way.
