Q: Lots of issues on 6s after IOS 10 upgrade

Hi All,

I am using a 2 months old 6s and was happy with the performance and usage but after IOS 10 upgrade (just few days before) there are lots of issues arises.

1. Battery life degraded compare to older IOS version

2. Phone hung quite often

3. Could not hear voice while dialing a new call until restart the phone

4. Dial history hung, couldnt navigate to other option in dialed history

5. Could not add other callers while on call until go via home and contact list and then dial a contact from there.

6. Camera takes a while to open

couldn't remember another few. Not sure these are the bugs on the latest IOS and if someone really looking into it??

Thanks

Deb

    Hello Deb@Dash,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding after updating your iPhone 6s to iOS 10, you've been experiencing battery life, phone call, and camera issues. I know it can be concerning when having multiple issues after an update. I am happy to help.

Since you've already restarted, I recommend resetting all settings next. This can resolve some connection and settings issues. Resetting all settings will take all settings back to default, including Wi-Fi networks and passwords, alerts, notifications, brightness, wallpaper, sound and removing Apple Pay cards. Even though no content is lost with this step, it's always a good idea to back up first. Please use the steps in the following link to assist with backing up.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Once you've successfully backed up, Reset All Settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

    Have a great day!

Is your iPhone's storage too full?

Check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage) and be certain you have absolutely no less (and hopefully much more) than 10% of your iPhone's total storage free.
