It looks like you're not able to sign in to Messages on your Mac. Let's start with some isolating steps to see if we can narrow down the cause.
First, create a new user account and try to sign into Messages. You can follow the steps in How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.
Use your Apple ID to sign into iMessages, as mentioned in Messages (El Capitan): Set up Messages.
