Q: Why did FCPX 10.2 swap my help files to German? How do I get them back to English?

Noticed two weeks ago that FCPX 10.2 while running in English ,

had swapped out my FCPX help files to German.

Why does this happen, and how can I get the  help back

to English without reinstalling?

Running older iMac that cannot go up to 10.2.3

Thank you!

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), 15" Early 2008 ICD 2 4gb ram

    Try re-shuffling in System Preferences:

Hello Al, and thanks for the reply.
I did try resetting the language prefs a few times, and it served up French and Portugese.

I had even tried moving those language folders out of the app folder - no dice.

I will try reshuffling all the prefs within the language pane and report back.

    thanks.....

Update/ Report back: did reshuffle in sys pref>language.
No dice. FCPX help now loads in some weird form of Spanish (after not being found at first).

    So:

    refresh prefs a third time?

    reinstall fcpx 10.2?

    thanks.....

    Things to try:

    Reboot Mac.

When opening FCP X hold Option-Command as it starts and reset the Preferences.

    Check keyboard Input:

Drag the desired first choice to the top.

Same for Language as already mentioned.

If it's not working then, I dunno?????
