Q: Why can't i find my yesterday's backup in devices? It only shows the one from today which has nothing. My yesterday's back up had all of my stuff. How can i get it back?

When i wanted to update ios10 it wouldn't update and it had to be restored. So i lost everything and today when i went on itunes in devices i did see the last update from yesterday @ 8pm, but when i wanted to restore back up today... i clicked on restore backup and selected the device but couldn't enter any password... so i had to click on encrypt password to create one and then it backed up my iphone again and now the only back up i see is the recent one.. So how can i get the one back from yesterday?
