Q: Downloaded new MacOS Sierra, but can't install it

Hi!

In the morning I downloaded new OS Sierra from AppStore. Download finished, I started installing. In the middle of that, a message appeared and it said that I don't have enough hard drive space. Okay, luckily I managed to start previous OS and everything works normally.

The problem is next - I still want to update to the newest OS. I open AppStore, search for OS Sierra and it says Downloaded. But I can't start installation process anyway .

In the finder, I noticed that under Macintosh HD there's new folder "macOS Install Data". Should I delete that, so I can download new OS from AppStore again and then install? Or how can I start installation process again?

Thanks!

Look in your Applications folder for "Install macOS Sierra." That is where the installer is placed when it's downloaded. It's normally deleted once the update is finished but may still be there.
