Q: Unable to delete apps in iOS 10.0.1.

I have an iPad Air 2.  I have updated recently to the latest iOS.  When I try to delete apps, the icons jiggle and the little grey x appears at the the top left hand corner of the app.  Usually I click the grey x and the app deletes.  It is no longer doing this.  I have reset the iPad using the usual methods (on-off/holding the power/home button, etc).  Anyone else having issues with this?  Any suggestions?

You don't have restrictions turned on, or you would not even see the X to delete the apps even though they would still wiggle. So that rules that out.

If the forced restart didn't work, I would try Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. No data is affected, the device will reboot and all settings including WiFi network passwords will have to be entered again.

If that fails, then backing up, restoring to factory settings and restoring the backup would be worth considering, but first things first. Resetting all settings is less work to do.

Doesn't work again. (After restoring to factory defaults). IOS 10 is full of bugs!

Thanks!  I was trying to avoid going that route.  If it gets too annoying I'll just delete apps through iTunes and wait for a future update.  No big deal right now, just a slight inconvenience.  I was hoping for a quick fix...haha.

    Did you try this?

Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Storage>Manage Storage. Let the list of apps load, then tap on the app you want to delete. Tap on Delete in the next screen.

And wifi is getting disconnect randomly and when I reboot thr ipad wifi is not getting connected to my home wifi.

Both of the issues are happening after upgrading to IOS10.
