Q: Photos Extension not showing up
Hi there,
I have tried everything and I have read literally all articles about the new extensions for Photos but I couldn't get them working on my Mac.
I have currently installed OS X 10.11.5 on a MacBook Pro Retina 13" Mid-2014.
I downloaded the "open in..."-extension available for free on the App Store as well as "Super Borders" just in order to check whether some extensions work on my Mac at all because the extensions of Evernote and Affinity Photo (not bought via the App Store) don't work.
I followed all the steps described by the producers of the apps but no extension shows up.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6) Beta

What does your "System Preferences > Extensions" panel look like?
It "Photos" shown in the left column at all? Is it completely missing, or is it listed as "not enabled"?
- If Photos is completely missing, reinstall OS X by booting into Recovery (see: OS X: About OS X Recovery). The Combo Updater will probably not suffice, because the Photo editing extensions should have been enabled by the first El Capitan version.
- If Photos is listed as "not enabled" or similar, click the "All Tab" instead and enable all extensions listed there. Then restart the Mac and try again.
