Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, I understand that you are unable to create a backup of your iPhone with iTunes. When you try, you get an error message indicating the iPhone has been disconnected. I know how important backups are, and use iTunes to back my own iPhone up regularly; I definitely want to make sure you can, too!
