Q: "My Card" - Contacts Refuses to Change it Even Thought It Looks Like It Changed
In Yosemite, I'm having a problem where Contacts thinks the wrong Contact Card is "My Card." In local and iCloud contacts, the silhouette appears next to the card I have marked as "Make This My Card." However, if I use the Contacts "Go to My Card" function it always takes me to another Contact card (my daughter's).
I have attempted to fix the problem by marking other cards as "Make this My Card." The silhouette indicating "my card" will always move to the new card, but if I use the "Go to My Card" function it will always jump to my daughter's card.
The main problem is this also goofs up Safari, because it attempts to use her Contact card to autofill webpages. I've tried disabling and re-enabling Autofill and changing the card from within Safari's preferences, but that does not work. As an additional datapoint, if I use Safari's preferences to attempt to change it, it will open my daughter's card in editing mode.
This is really annoying and started about 2 months after Yosemite was installed.
