Q: Still no way to enter cholesterol readings

With the new health app, there is still NO way to enter blood cholesterol readings. Only mention of cholesterol is in the Nutrition section for what you eat.

Blood glucose levels have been able to be entered since the first version of Health app.

Despite mention in the forum from others, it is still not in the new version.

(Not sure I like the new version as it has information needed under headings rather than a single scrollable screen of favorites)

I believe the way to enter cholesterol numbers is to use one of the apps suggested in the Health app's screen.  See "Apps for Tracking Dietary Cholesterol":

Your suggestion is only for tracking cholesterol contained in your food - not your blood cholesterol numbers.

Blood cholesterol numbers are received from blood tests when you go to the lab (HDL, LDL, TG).

That data looks like it would be entered in the "Health Records" section on the "Health Data" tab.  IMG_0518.PNG

My clinic provider only has information/lab reports either online or their app, PDF, and XDMF format.

Even if they had the CDA format, If you go to the health record example above and choose "Data Sources & Access) the fields for record requests and data sources both say "none" are unresponsive and greyed out! There is nothing to set any options in phone settings (other than under privacy).

Shouldn't be any more difficult for Apple to manually add blood cholesterol numbers under the Results category just like there is for blood glucose.

It is really strange that there is a blood alcohol category under results. Who checks their blood alcohol content?
