Q: storage still calculating?

Hey every one,

While running beta i noticed this and it is still an issue on full release my storage is hung up at calculating. any fixed or work arounds

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12)

Click the Manage button. Does that do anything?

John, Yes it seems t be the system is clocking all other parts of manage are complete see picture attached

My Macs showed "Calculating" for a long time, but they all finish... eventually.

Thanks I hope it does this time. This has been ongoing on mine both under beta and on the GM release also. I reported it also under GM but haven't heard anything yet.

GGlad to know I'm not alone. I upgraded my mid 12 13 inch yesterday no matter sue this is on my 15 inch retina pro

Ok so there are many of us having this issue is there a fix out there can we get this bumped, Still doing on my mid 15 MBP 15" retina.

UPDATE: I manually removed Garage Band

Macintosh HD/Applications/GarageBand.app (1.16GB)
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/GarageBand (995MB)
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Logic (880MB)
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Apple Loops (up to 10GB)*
and it solved the issue on this machine, I don't use Garage Band so not an issue for me to remove.

I am having the same issue on my MacBook Pro despite trying many things. Interestingly, on my other MacBook Air the issue resolved itself after a forced Spotlight reindexing.

I tried a spotlight reindexing and still have that problem :/ the only way it get fixed is by restoring the computer and set it as new instead of restoring the time machine backup
