Q: Storage in OS XI captain

Hi,

 

I recently bought Macbook air 128GB. When i check storage i am confused.

 

If i add GB occupied by Apps, Audio, Photos, Movies and Backups it is not matching with free space as mentioned 92.82 GB. Also, why is it showing as 121 GB instead 128 GB. How should i read this chart?
