Q: Macbook pro new wobble on flat surface

When I place my brand new MacBook pro 13" early 2015 (but says 2016) on my desk, the lower left corner does not lay flat on the surface, this creates a wobble whenever I try to type or put pressure on the bottom left. All the cushion things are in place. If I place it on a kitchen counter, it stays flat on the surface. I see a lot of folks had this same concern, granted, it could have been the surface but anyone out there know how to confirm if the surface is flat or if the laptop is uneven?

Try it on a known flat surface like a granite kitchen countertop.

Try checking the desk with a straight edge on side or a level.

Check for additional signs of a swollen battery. Look especially for a widening gap along the front center in front of the spacebar where the top meets the chassis.

If you find such evidence, make an appointment for an evaluation. If you have an Apple store, your evaluation is free, in warranty or out.

Do you mean between the space bar and the track pad? I do not see any signs of warping or gaps.

I tried it on top of the counter top and it lays flat. I believe the table is warped, as I put a round item on the desk and it moved downward. Its just weird that if I turn the laptop facing backwards, the opposite side of the laptop went downwards.

In other words: I'm really bad with physics but the table was uneven

Sorry. My description was not very good.

Try this: Between the top cover and the bottom cover where they meet at the "closet to you" section of the laptop, along the front edge. The battery is under the trackpad and if it were swelling would tend to push on the top and bottom and open that seam slightly.

If it doesn't wobble on certain surfaces, that suggest to me that your desk is not completely flat.  Use a spirit level to check.

A level is not really going to help. The problem is that the surface is not in one plane.
