Q: Up to date iTunes suddenly stopped recognizing iPhone 6s
My up to date iTunes no longer recognizes my iPhone 6s (not yet iOS 10 and will not be until it reliably is not bricking devices)
iPhone was connected through USB port and recognized, unplugged to check syncing issue, and when it was plugged back in iTunes no longer noticed it. Pictures opens automatically every time it is connected, and following the Apple Support page for "iTunes not recognizing iPhones" I option-apple'd "System information" and iPhone appears under the USB tree.
Both macbook and phone have been restarted and reconnected to no avail.
Support page goes on to explain how to manually update the driver in Windows, but not Mac so that's not helpful.
