Q: New Apple earphone in Macbook

Hello folks,

So I after having a relationship for 4 years with an iPhone 4S I took the upgrade and bought the iPhone 7 128GB Black. I really love it and especially the sound with the new earphones. But now I can't listen to my music on my Macbook with the new earphones. Is there any kind of a plug/adapter/switch from lighting to the normal jack?

It's really strange why Apple doesn't think about their old products. Well it's all about the numbers they say.

I hope someone can help me.

With kind regards,
Rob

would be odd to sell a iPhone with a headset which fit the phone but send a converter so it would fit other products too

kinda like sending a usb -> pin30 cable along with the charger so you could charge your old ipod

your best bet is to use the lighting to female minijack converter and use a minijack cable with a male connector in each end to connect 1 to the converter and the other to the computer (if the mic and bottoms of the headset will work is somewhat doubtful)
