Q: message on my Apple Iphone SE

I received a message on my Apple Iphone se " Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used on a new Mac" What does this mean?

    It means what it says. The Apple ID you are using on your phone is now being used on a Mac and Messages / FaceTime are set up with that ID and your phone number.

    This is my first Iphone so I am learning. But the problen is, I do not own a Mac, unless it means my phone. Sorry for being an idiot if that is what it means. Just worried me as it popped up on my phone today

    No. It does not mean your phone. It means a Mac. Are you sharing an ID with anyone? If so, don't do that. They are not meant to be shared.

    If not, you need to change your password immediately!

    I did that right away as I would rather be safe than sorry. Thank You for your help and confirming my suspicions. Not sure what to do next except pay attention to any weird things, I will check the devices on my Apple id for a while also!
