Q: Ringtone-Problem with iOS 10.0.1

I have a iPhone6 with the current iOS10.0.1. In my previous iOS I could assign each contact a ringing tone, what I have done. After updating to iOS10 the default ringtone is only used that is not available but so not really for me to use. I need different SMS or ring tones for my alarm as First Responders.
Unfortunately, I have already asked this question here, this was always away, because it is so yesterday acted to the Golden Master version ......

I Have contacted Apple Phone support too, just few minutes ago.

They confirm, it's officially a bug of iOS 10.0.1. They are sending user's feedbacks to Apple.

Update soon...

    Same problem here, iOS 10.0.1 on iPhone 6s. I've just try to reset option, with no result.

    Ringtone's contacts seems to be bypassed by system default ringtone.

    I Think  we have a bug here...

    I Have contacted apple support by phone today. It looks like they never heard about this problem yet. I will receive a call from apple today or tomorrow with hopefully some informations about a possible fix for this bug. It is really annoying.

    IF I get a possible fix I"ll post it here,  so other user maybe have also a solution for fixing the problem. I think, we are not the only ones, who found this bug, so apple may release a update soon.

    I've tried different thinks, like reinstall iOS 10, sync the ringtones again and again, delete all contacts from my phone and create a test-contact without iCloud-connection, to see if its icloud related, reset all settings and many other possible solutions around the internet and from apple-support. But at the moment there is no solution. We have to be patient.

    New update 10.0.2 out now.

    Installed and verified...but this bug is still present.

    NOT SOLVED YET!!!

    Come on Apple, do your homework!!!
