Q: Calendar Day Won't update on Dock after installed Sierra

Hi all,

I upgraded to macOS Sierra two days ago.  I noticed that the calendar icon on the dock won't update to the current day anymore. It reminds as 9/21 - The day I installed Sierra.  Does anyone experience something similar?

Thanks!

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12)

    I'm seeing the correct date.

Log out under the Apple in the Menu bar. Log into Guest user. Open Calendar. Does it show the correct date?

If no, then log back into your User and make these changes in System Preferences.

System Preferences > Security & Privacy

Location Services > verify your settings are checked. You will need to unlock to make changes.

Check your time & location under System Preferences > Date & Time.

If you still don't see time, try deleting the com.apple.iCal.plist in your User's Library > Preferences folder. Log out/in after making the change.

    Show User's Library

The User's Library folder is hidden by default. To unhide: Select the Finder in the Dock. Under Go in the Menu bar > hold down the Option key and you’ll see the Library.
