Q: Iphone 5c Boot Loop problem

So it.s like this , iphone got an uppdate from itunes, but after than it entered into a boot loop.

The phone can be power on using the power on/off button ,but it can be turned off only using power on + home buton combo !

Phone powers on  but right at apple logo, it stay there for 3 sec then the apple logo fades to grey (just like a broken lcd) then it restarts... and it does this on and on and on ... until the battery is empty.

The phone enters DFU mode , itunes recognized it, but after itunes kick the iphone from dfu mode , and itunes says "waiting for iphone", the phone restarts but instead of continuing the restore procedure , it enters the same loop ,and after 10 minutes itunes gives error .

The phone is out of warranty , and i want to save it just because it looks perfect, doesnt have any sign of usage !

Oh, and another thing i did try to put another Original apple battery (i hade in hand 6 brand new one !! ) didnt work ...

So guys i came to you for your opinion. Be free to say anything you think will fix this poor iphone !

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.3.1

I was about to say make an appointment at the genius bar. They would try to restore it for you at no charge....

Then I saw your mention of trying to put a new battery in it... If you physically opened the phone up, it's technically unsupportable and completely untouchable by Apple. I might not hurt to take it in anyway and see if they can get it to restore, but you can kiss any hopes of an out of warranty replacement goodbye.

Where did you get 6 new Apple iPhone 5c batteries? They don't sell them to the public.

Politics has nothing to do with, Apple does not have a supply chain to sell genuine iPhone batteries to anyone other than Authorized Apple Service Providers and by Apple rules the AASP cannot sell the batteries to the public. I doubt whoever sold you these batteries sold you a genuine one and that is probably the issue in your loop, the battery could be defective or it damaged the power control IC. You could try one of your other batteries to see if it fixes the problem.

I would also suggest you try the forums at http://www.ifixit.com as you will find many more people there who actually work on iPhones.

Apple batteries are made in China. Unless you paid a premium price for stolen Apple batteries they are not going to be original. If you paid a cheap price there is no way. Their are a number of high quality replacement batteries out there. Check with the iFixit forums.

    Incidentally, can you define "forever"?

Your definition of forever is very short.

Outside packaging of a battery is very easy to accomplish. At $29 those are probably not Apple batteries unless they are used ones that have been salvaged. I would still suggest you try another battery, even an Apple one can be defective and repeat your question at iFixit.

No, there are many sites that sell knockoffs and salvaged parts. Apple is very careful with their parts. But regardless I think the battery, and possible damage it may have caused, is your issue so I suggested you try another one. I don't care if it came from Tim Cook's office it could still be defective. Try another one.

No. They are not. Apple DOES NOT SELL iPhone parts at all, including batteries. The only way they could be "original" is if they are salvaged from used iPhones or stolen.

Either way, it doesn't really matter at this point. Apple won't touch your phone at all and you can't get help for it here.
