Q: Apple Support Communities Updates

Despite several attempts in past months I've been unable to stop many hundreds of Updates flooding in. I use SpamSieve and they all go to my Spam folder.

How can I stop these Updates coming?

iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

as in Those Kind Folk who took a look at my problem and did whatever to fix it,

This is to report that the problem I had for months and couldn't fix -- endless Apple Support Communities Updates flooding in to my Mac -- has GONE. No more in such email received.

Check my screenshot below. The updates you received all appear to be from Macjack. Why you're receiving is them is any bodies guess.

see in fortes' inbox there are no notices for this thread? BUT list seems to be 'sorted' by DATE!
"WIRES" are CROSSED?
I rechecked ALL of fortes' "following" as well - still should only be getting this thread notices
checked macjack's to see if his 'followERs' showed fortes by some chance = nope

I wonder if macjack is getting his own mail?(both getting macjacks?) - or if macjack is getting fortes' mail?

also checked for similarity in the REAL identifier of users here
data-userid="200651" = macjack
data-userid="1190442" = fortes

databases are funny critters - how one gets a "record" with erroneous values is puzzling, but we have all seen evidence of the JiveWare being "confused"

I could report your posts as duplicates but they aren't duplcates. One's marked solved and the other is helpful. I'd let both stand. Marking a post solved is the closest we have to closing a thread.
