RIght, still lag on iPhone 7.... incredible...

Try turning on Reduce motion in settings under accessibility as a temporary fix, until they fix the issues. My 7 Plus lags when closing apps as well.

It reduces user experience quite a lot, but as for now it seems to be the only possible solution. What's strange is that a friend of mine does not have this problem.. So I am afraid it could be a hardware problem related to a large number of iPhones but not all.

Is your friends iphone a 7 or 7 plus? How much did you play ariund with me?

This is clearly a software related issue and not a hardware issue. I remember with my 6s Plus that it was poorly optimised when it was released, but once iOS 10 finally came it was incredibly snappy! I have confidence that Apple will patch it over the coming weeks/months.

Same issue here.. I just picked up my 7 (256) and i have the same problem.. Its very annoyng.. Cmon Apple.... I missed already my 6+ !!!!!!

He has a regular 7. I didn't play with it yet but I described him the problem carefully and he said he doesn't have that problem. Maybe he just doesn't care.. I just hope for apple to fix it ASAP, cause I already miss my 6!

I have this issue also, on two iPhone 7 pluses (128 and 256). Thought it was a delay in the "new" home button clicking but it' definitely the animations. I compared the IP 7 Plus to my old IP 6 Plus and the 6 Plus was noticeably faster and smoother. Between this and the horrible Bluetooth issues makes me regret getting the IP 7 Plus.
